Montessori Corners: Play Kitchen

This post is part of a series called Montessori Corners. I want to help you make your home Montessori friendly in a way that won’t take up a lot of space or cost you much money.

This is Little K’s play kitchen. We chose the IKEA Nybakad for its small foot print and basic, realistic design. It fits in with our cottage style kitchen and dining room decor. We chose not to buy separate kitchen accessories; instead, Little K “makes pasta” with a measuring cup and measuring spoon for a pot and stirring stick, and a small sized colander I no longer use.
